Welcome to RootedByEl. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the products and services offered through it. By browsing the site, placing an order, or requesting a quote, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Your agreement
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order or submit a request through this site. You agree to provide accurate information and to use any payment method you enter only if you are authorized to do so.
Orders & products
We do our best to describe our plants and products accurately, but because plants are living things, size, color, and form vary naturally from the photos shown. Placing an order is an offer to buy; we may accept or decline any order, and we will let you know if an item is unavailable and arrange a refund or alternative.
Pricing & payment
- Prices are shown on the site and may change over time; the price that applies is the one shown when you check out.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
- You are responsible for any applicable taxes and, where relevant, delivery charges shown at checkout.
Fulfillment
Availability, local delivery, and pickup options are described at checkout or arranged directly with you. If something arrives damaged or is not as described, contact us promptly and we will make it right.
Landscaping & quote requests
Quote requests submitted through the site are an inquiry, not a binding contract. Any landscaping or design work is governed by a separate estimate or agreement provided to you before work begins.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm the site or other users;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its systems;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place an automated or excessive load on the site; or
- submit information that is false, misleading, or that you are not authorized to provide.

The site’s content, branding, photography, and design are owned by RootedByEl or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Please do not copy or reuse them without permission, except as needed to use the site for its intended purpose.
Disclaimers & liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RootedByEl will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
